Hey, I’m Ashley. I’m a rough-around-the-edges, enneagram 8, passionate follower of Christ, wife, and mama.
My favorite thing ever is spending time outside with my husband and three kids on our thirty-acre South Georgia farmland.
I also love to write from the trenches about my faith. I love to sit with people and hear how God has transformed them.
I could have never dreamed up my life.
You see, I grew up unchurched. Many devastating circumstances, such as the disintegration of my family, addicted loved ones, and my own downward spiral with alcohol and unhealthy relationships, caused me to realize I needed a savior.
God used prayers and the sovereign placement of many faithful believers to draw me into a life of following Him.
As I got to know Jesus, I realized two important things. I learned who God was through the pages in my Bible, and I learned who I was in light of those truths.
Curious about how God designed me, I started reflecting on my story and how God may be trying to use my experiences to minister to those around me.
What I uncovered was a deep love and compassion for God’s people.
- Those navigating life with addicted loved ones
- women with troubled pasts
- disheartened believers in ministry
- and creatives desperate for courage
Those are the people I love to encourage and spur on to love and good works.
God loves to use all the broken places in our life to equip us to reach others with the depth of His love.
God can redeem and repurpose our dysfunction, pasts, and discouragement for our good, the good of others, and His glory, friend!
Jesus gives us the power and the purpose to endure hardships with endurance. And He takes His love to another level by allowing us to make an impact on the world around us!
My mission here is to help you do that too. I want to help you know God and make Him known!
